Transport Throughout Cornwall

For anyone who isn’t bringing or hiring a car, we’ve put a list of taxi firms below. Given the geography, it can be easier and quicker to travel by boat though, so we’ve also included ferry and water taxi details.

By Car

• From Gatwick: 278 miles, 4 hrs 49 mins.
• From Heathrow: 280 miles, 4 hrs 26 mins.
• From Newquay: 28.5 miles, 46 mins.

• From Hastings: 323 miles, 5 hrs 52 mins.
• From Lancaster: 382 miles, 6 hrs.
• From London: 293 miles, 4 hrs 52 mins.

By Rail (to Truro, from which it is a 9.3 mile, 19 min drive to Mylor)

• From Gatwick: Gatwick to Reading: 1 hr 16 mins, then Reading to Truro: 4 hrs 14 mins
